Left Bank Creative Wins Best In Class For Artserve Michigan Creative State Michigan Website

April 26, 2012 - PRLog -- DETROIT — Left Bank Creative, an award-winning design firm, today announced it has received “Best in Class” by the Interactive Media Awards™ for its work on the Creative State Michigan website www.creativestatemi.org – a statewide advocacy report for the arts, presented by ArtServe Michigan. Left Bank Creative was honored for surpassing standards of excellence to comprise some of the web’s most professional work, specifically in the category for excellence in Advocacy.

The judging criteria included design, usability, innovation in technical features, standards compliance and content. To merit this award level, the site is required to meet strict guidelines in each area — an achievement only a fraction of sites in the IMA competition earn each quarter.

The Creative State Michigan report, formatted for the Web, reveals the significant impact of state dollars invested in the arts, culture and arts education sector. Data came from the Americans for the Arts’ annual Creative Industries Reports, the Michigan Economic Development Corporation and the Michigan Cultural Data Project (Michigan CDP).
