determine the possible presence of numerous type of drugs. Recently quick and easy to use test kits for blood alcohol testing have become available.

Now there is a quick and easy to use test kit that can be used to determine the possible presence of explosives or incendiaries and explosive or incendiary residues.






This kit was developed by a forensic scientist at the request of a bomb disposal unit. The kit is based upon the same tests that are used in the laboratory by the forensic scientists that regularly analyze explosives and incendiaries. It consists of several color tests that will react with almost all common explosives or incendiaries and many uncommon types. While this kit cannot be used to replace laboratory analysis, it can be of great help in collecting evidence by locating suspected explosives or incendiaries and explosive or incendiary residues.

Each kit contains enough reagents to conduct presumptive tests for nitrates, nitrated compounds (i.e., C4, PETN, TNT to name a few), chlorates and perchlorates.  There is enough reagents to run each of the four tests hundreds of times. The kit is also available in a smaller size that does the same tests as mentioned above, but is small enough to fit in a car glove box. Additionally, the reagents are stable over long periods of time. The Crip Kit for Explosives is affordable and easy to use. It would make an excellent addition to any agency's EOD unit equipment and/or crime scene evidence collection equipment.The kit consists of several color tests that will react with almost all common explosives or incendiaries and many uncommon types.

While the kit cannot be used to replace laboratory analysis, it can be of great help in collecting evidence by locating  suspected intact explosives or incendiaries and explosive or incendiary residues.

Each kit contains the reagents to do presumptive tests for  both organic (TNT, Tetryl, RDX, etc.) and inorganic nitrates, as well as chlorates, perchlorates and peroxides (TATP/HMTD).

There are enough reagents to run each test hundreds of times.  Extremely cost effective each test costs less than £0.40p.

The reagents are stable over long periods of time.  The reagents come in UV proof plastic dropper bottles that allow  for precise control of the reagent application.

Each reagent bottle has a matched color coded dropper tip and cap that prevents cross contamination between reagents.
