The event is designed to foster partnership opportunities between U.S. buyers and South Korean consumer product manufacturers. Strategic partnerships are created thanks to innovative, competitive priced products made newly available to the U.S. market.
“The Korean Innovation Showcase will provide U.S. buyers with the rare, golden opportunity to take part in one-on-one meetings with executives from top South Korean producers of cutting-edge consumer products,” explained Su Young Kim, Head of SBC New York Office, the South Korean government agency that promotes innovative Korean enterprises and technologies and the co-hosts of the event. “The event will showcase 14 of the leading South Korean companies in consumer products from a range of industries, including home goods, cosmetics, personal care, kitchenware, green construction, and more.”
With the effectuation of Korea-U.S. FTA this year, the border tariff burden has been largely relieved for international business and trade, creating better opportunities for profitable trading between the U.S. and South Korea.
“Thanks to recent policy changes, now is the perfect time for savvy U.S. buyers to partner with South Korean companies to bring exciting new products into the marketplace,”
