Steljes Cardiology Receives Nuclear Cardiology and Echocardiography Accreditations

April 25, 2012 - PRLog -- HENDERSON, Nev. – (April 23, 2012) The Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) recently announced that Steljes Cardiology, a full-service cardiology practice, diagnostic sleep center and clinical research center, has earned accreditation in echocardiography and nuclear cardiology.
Echocardiography refers to the process of taking a sonogram of the heart. It is routinely used in the diagnosis, management and follow-up of patients with any suspected or known heart diseases and is one of the most widely used diagnostic tests in cardiology.
Nuclear medicine is a medical specialty involving the application of radioactive substances in the diagnosis and treatment of disease.
