Balfour Beatty Construction ranked 16th among 50 named Atlanta area businesses in the survey’s “Small Employer” category. The small employer category included businesses with 149 or fewer employees. Balfour Beatty Construction employs about 60 people in the Atlanta office.

To pick the Top 100 metro-Atlanta companies, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution partnered with Workplace Dynamics to conduct an extensive employee satisfaction and engagement survey. Workplace Dynamics surveyed 188 metro companies, and more than 43,500 employees participated in the survey. Companies were graded on several factors, including the direction of the company, working conditions, career paths, management, as well as compensation and benefits.
One of three construction companies included in the Top 100, Balfour Beatty Construction is the fourth largest contractor in Atlanta.
