In addition, the company showed a significant improvement in terms of operating results. For the first quarter of 2012, its reportable segment and Other Businesses income from operations was approximately US$295 million, reversing a loss of US$26 million in the fourth quarter of 2011. By market close, there were 24.28 million stock shares traded, which was 2.2 times more than average volume.
