8th Grade Students Prepare for Area High Schools

Eighth grade students at Princeton Montessori School were overwhelmingly accepted to the area's independent high schools and are now eagerly anticipating graduation and the start of their high school years.

April 29, 2012 - PRLog -- Between them, the school's 8th grade students received 26 acceptance letters. Schools at which they will matriculate include George School, The Hun School, The Lawrenceville School, Peddie, Pennington, and St. Andrews, Delaware.

From September to January, the daunting independent high school application process is never far from the front of their minds as they complete application forms, take the SSAT, and interview at the schools on their list. From January to March there is nothing more they can do except wait while keeping up their school work, aware that final grades are sent to their chosen school in June. From April onwards they can relax once they have decided which school's offer of admission to accept. It's now time to revel in a job well done and anticipate graduation around the corner.

8th grade students included in the photo are Princeton residents Rowen Light Wills, Quincey Huang, Alex Essig, Sophia Torrance, and Sophie Hargrove; Piscattaway resident Etan Weisfogel; and Belle Mead resident Matthew Egbert.
