The River Neva to Shoot Video at May 5th Release Party; Swarm of Eyes to Play

April 25, 2012 - PRLog -- Central New England-based progressive / thrash metal band The River Neva will hold a release party for their debut EP, Chemistry of Holocaust, and shoot footage for their upcoming video for "Night of the Long Knives" on Saturday May 5th at the legendary Ralph's Rock Diner in Worcester, MA.

The event is open to fans 21 years of age or older.  Doors open at 7 P.M. with show time at 8:30 P.M. Tickets may be purchased in advance for $10 via the band's web store (http://theriverneva.bigcartel.com/) or are $12 at the door. The price of admission also includes a copy of the band's debut disc.

In a message to their fans, The River Neva said, "We want you guys to show up en masse and make the video footage violent and ridiculous! This is the culmination of two years of blood sweat and tears for us and we want to share it with all of you. There will be a ton of surprises in store and the stage show will be amazing."

In addition to shooting their video, The River Neva (http://theriverneva.bandcamp.com/) will perform songs from Chemistry of Holocaust.  The band's debut was helmed by producer/engineer Rob Gil (who has worked with such metal luminaries as Hatebreed, Shadows Fall, and Unearth) and showcases the band's melodic, yet violent take on progressive metal.

Fellow up-and-coming New England metal band Swarm of Eyes (http://www.swarmofeyes.com) will be one of several live acts lined up to play The River Neva's release party. Swarm of Eyes will perform songs from their debut album, Designing the Dystopia, released last year via Humanemic Records.

Other bands scheduled to perform are Acaro, The Black Heart Epidemic, Sabado Gigante, and Seven Minute Stagger. The event is being sponsored by Ralph's Rock Diner and Hurt Reynolds Clothing Company.
