Priority Services Inc. Wins Guitar Center Carrier of the Year 2011

April 25, 2012 - PRLog -- Priority Services, Inc. (PSI) and owners, Deborah and Jason Riha, were recently awarded Guitar Center's Carrier of the Year Award for 2011. Guitar Center is a Westlake Village, CA based retailer of musical instruments and accessories.

Deborah Riha said she is extremely honored to receive the award and gives credit to her hard-working staff.  “We are extremely proud to be recognized by Guitar Center for our performance and  the excellent customer service our staff provides," Riha said.

Ron Eckstein, VP Logistics at Guitar Center said, "Priority has been a great partner for us and has shown flexibility to handle special projects (South Bend closure) and grow with us through moving into new service territories."

The award is based on communication, on time pick up, on time delivery and 100% unloading among other criteria. From their facility in suburban Chicago, PSI provides store deliveries and linehauls for Guitar Center stores.  Since the partnership began in June 2010, Priority has earned additional business with Guitar Center and now services the linehauls from Guitar Center's distribution center in Indiana to suburban Chicago and deliveries to stores throughout the Chicago and Iowa market.

Priority Services, Inc. has been in business since 1973 and was founded by Deborah's parents Bill and Barbara Norton.  In 1998 Deborah and her husband, Jason Riha took over the day-to-day operations.
