The Y Achievers and Teen Leaders of the Hatboro YMCA, will partner with Impact Thrift Stores, to host a collection drive event to benefit families and children in crisis. With the help of the YMCA's Y Achievers and Teen Leaders, Impact Thrift will be accepting donations of gently used clothing, household items, linens, dishware, furniture, electronics, and much much more all afternoon, during Healthy Kids Day.
Based in Hatboro Pa, Impact Thrift Stores is a non-profit 501(c)(3) whose mission is to positively impact local communities through its thrift store operations. Through the collection drive event, the Y Achievers and Teen Leaders will make a difference in their community by helping Impact Thrift Stores organize and manage a collection drive; while focusing on serving the community and being kind to the environment.
The donated items that the students collect, such as: unneeded clothing, books, furniture and household items, will be sold at Impact Thrift Stores and the money generated will financially support 16 locally based charities right here in Montgomery/Bucks County. Impact Thrift’s financial support of these local non-profits enables their staff to spend more time doing what they do best…feeding the hungry, housing the homeless, and supporting children and families in need.
If you're in the area on Saturday, April 28th from 10am to 2pm, feel free to drop off your gently-used items in support of this wonderful event.
