Having started as a small operation in Croydon, South London, Rapid Rubbish Clearance have begun to increase their presence, and now offer waste disposal services to residential premises, office buildings and building sites.
Having realised early on that recycling waste is a key concern for their customers, the company decided to focus on their environmental credentials as key selling point. This means that all of their trucks now run on 100% bio fuel and that any wood wasted is used to power EDF biomass power plants.
Their managing director, Gary Clancy explains: “when we first entered business, our goal was to clear waste cheaply and quickly, however we often found our customers asking us questions about where the waste ended up after it left their property”. This led Clancy to establish an internal set of policies for Rapid Rubbish Clearance which today is a key selling point of their operation.
In addition to the recycling efforts, the company also trains their staff to be that one-step ahead in terms of friendliness. “We realise the waste clearance industry has a reputation for rough-and-ready clearance staff who simply want to get in and out”, explains Clancy. “We take pride in the fact that our staff arrive on time, wear uniforms, are courteous and take the utmost care of client’s belongings”.
The company now offers a complete suite of services to clients which includes house, garden and office clearance, office relocations, site builders waste removal and man & van removals. Their ability to offer a service for everyone, while reducing the impact on the environment means the company can look to the long-term in the increasingly competitive waste disposal market.
