Restoran Mama Lissa's Grand Opening Saturday 28th April @ Bukit Jambul Shopping Complex

April 25, 2012 - PRLog -- After the initial success of Mama Lissa's hawker stall in the Queensbay area Mama is starting a new culinary chapter by opening her first fully fledged restaurant in Bukit Jambul shopping complex.

The highly desireable location on the promenade at the front of the shopping mall offers a semi alfresco green environment for diners to enjoy Mama Lissa's delightful Melayu Melaka cuisine.

Mama Lissa's is the only restaurant serving authentic Melaka cuisine in Penang so it is a perfect fit for the island deemed the culinary capital of Malaysia.

Mama was quoted as saying " the first hawker stall was only opened to test customer feedback on my Melaka driven menu. After the positive response we got from customers the next logical step was to find a suitable location to present our menu on a far grander scale. I was absolutely delighted to secure the premium spot at the entrance to Bukit Jambul Shopping complex and I feel the green environment is a definite plus for customers hungry for our Melaka cusine."

Restoran Mama Lissa's is open from 8am until 10pm seven days a week with a classic Melayu Melaka menu serving food at Kampung prices in a desireable shopping mall location.

The grand opening set for Saturday 28th April will comprise of many entertaining events starting from 2pm onwards. Mamas' famous gorillas will be giving away free food to passing shoppers before the official opening which is scheduled for 3pm.

At 3,30pm a Nasi Lemak speed eating contest will take place with some super prizes for the eventual winner.
