OAME Selects Neil Y. Lee of LEEKA Architecture and Planning as a Minority Business of the Year

Oregon Association of Minority Entreprenuers (OAME) selects Neil Y. Lee of LEEKA Architecture and Planning as a recipient of the Minority Business of the Year for 2012. Award ceremony takes place on May 10, 2012 at the Oregon Convention Center.
 
April 25, 2012 - PRLog -- Portland, Ore., (April 24, 2012) -- The Oregon Association of Minority Entrepreneurs (OAME) has selected LEEKA Architecture and Planning as a recipient of Minority Business of the Year for 2012.  The award honors minority business owners who demonstrate significant business and personal growth and exemplify the mission of OAME.  Winners of this prestigious award are selected by OAME staff and management.  OAME recognizes business owners and companies for promoting the organization’s mission statement: “To promote and develop entrepreneurship and economic development for ethnic minorities in Oregon and Southwestern Washington, and thereby reduce racism and discrimination.”   Neil Y. Lee, principal of LEEKA Architecture and Planning, will receive the award at the Association’s Annual Luncheon and Trade Show on May 10, 2012 at the Oregon Convention Center.

“For 25 years, OAME has supported and partnered with small business owners in the Portland and Southwestern Washington region to help them reach and succeed in their professional goals,” said Sam Brooks, Chairman of the Board for OAME.  “Small minority business owners like Neil Lee of LEEKA Architecture and Planning represent the hundreds of small entrepreneurs out there in our area that have worked hard to bring diversity and inclusion to the business world in all industry sectors.”
