Book 5 of the highly popular Sorcerer's Path Saga is out!

Brock Deskins' highly acclaimed epic fantasy series keeps the adventure going with the fifth release of this popular series. Fans have long awaited the next installment and will certainly not be disappointed.

April 24, 2012 - PRLog -- King Jarvin’s reign is far from uncontested and the true usurper decides to make his move. Jarvin escapes with help from an unlikely source—a vampire named Landrin who still clings tenaciously to his own humanity.
King Jarvin is in exile and his only hope is for Azerick and his wizard friends, along with a small army out of North Haven, to ride to the rescue. But the traitor and his vastly superior forces are not the greatest threat to the kingdom. Far to the north, a lich of extraordinary power has been gathering dark energy for years and is nearly ready to release it upon the living. Back home, Azerick's apprentice finds herself in so much trouble she may single-handedly reignite the war between Valaria and their southern neighbor.

For those new to the series, the story starts off following a boy named Azerick as he struggled to survive on the streets of Southport as a homeless rogue. Azerick discovers a talent for magic and comes into his power as he overcomes the obstacles the fates continuously throw in his way through guile, strength, luck, and sheer force of will. Azerick makes friends as easily and powerfully as enemies.

They just keep getting better. This is the best one so far. This book had what made the other books so good. The side stories with the other characters were very interesting. Read the first three then you need this one.

Loved it! Really did not expect to be enthralled but I was. In some respects, and only some, reminds me of Stephen King in the manner which he lays all the background and all the different sects will come together, I am sure, in the next book. I really enjoyed the characters, I enjoyed the action. I enjoyed that the "heros" are human with vitures and vices. I will purchase his next books with great anticipation.

Best read I have had since Deadly Hallows and Inheritance April 13, 2012
I just finished the third book in this series and felt I should write a review of the first book so that I can share my thoughts as to if this book and series is worth your time. In short, I am a "read-a-holic." I have read 25 books since January 1st of this year from authors such as Terry Mancour, Michael Radcliffe, Suzanne Collins, James Luceno, Brandon Mull, Toby Neighbors, Martin Parece, Geof Johnson, T.B. Christensen, Honor Reconteur, Heath Pfaff, John Dalton and now Brock Deskins with his "Sorcerer's Path Series." I enjoyed all the books written by all the authors listed. Nonetheless, these stories by Brock Deskins are my favorites, even more than the original and wonderful "Hunger Games" by Suzanne Collins. The plots and characters are fresh enough to not be tiring. The dialogue is good and the humor is great. My wife has been startled more than once by a sudden unexpected outburst of chortling on my part. I have found it difficult to put the stories down and will start book 4 after posting this review.
