Out of The Cave and Into the Streets

April 24, 2012 - PRLog -- On Saturday, May 12th, White Marsh will be rocking with energy as Freddy Flanagan and his team transforms the Boscov’s parking lot into a major block party. If you’re a teen, young adult or young at heart, this event will unleash the party animal in you!  Party time is from 4pm to 8pm.

The event entitled “Rock the Block” represents a metaphor that’s proven to be quite effective at appealing to a young audience. Over the past two years, Freddy’s events have attracted over five thousand people.  

Freddy Flanagan is a rare breed…a young energetic hybrid artist/promoter/pastor/motivational speaker with an amazing ability to captivate the attention of teens and young adults. When Freddy throws a party, heads will bounce, bodies will move, and music will rock you to a sweat!

Freddy’s brand of fun is wired in the pattern of today’s young mind. The key difference is that Freddy’s parties substitute the consumption of alcohol with sodas and energy drinks. The result? A fun night out with minimal to zero negative side-effects. If you’re that parent of a teen or young adult, you’re probably asking yourself – “How and where can I sign my kids up for this?”

Every Friday Night, Freddy hosts a variety party at The Cave, a Christian…yes…Christian night club located on Red Branch Road in Columbia, MD.  Freddy actively promotes talented recording artists that rival the quality and energy of top Hip Hop, Pop and other secular music celebrities. These artists are keen on communicating God’s love with clean, effective lyrics and prose.

On Saturday, May 12th, the energy of The Cave will transfer to White Marsh, taking Freddy’s party to the streets. Key performances include Freddy Flanagan, Prolific, Advent, DJ Craig & ‘em, Schwinny and more.

Rock The Block has attracted significant sponsors including, Liberty University, Compassion International, White Marsh Mall, Calvary Chapel, Hey Papi Promotions, Access 2 Heaven Network, Iconic Pictures, just to name a few.

Over 30 vendors will be on site.

Several additional activities include puppet show, face painting, fire truck, children’s entertainment and more.

Pre-registration is strongly encouraged to avoid lines and crowds.
