Singer Cory Lee And Her Supermodel Strut Are Going To Tear This Years |FAT|party Up

PRLog (Press Release) - Apr. 24, 2012 - Singer/Songwriter/Actress Cory Lee is scheduled to perform the newest single to hit Canadian airways off of her 3rd studio album this upcoming Wednesday during Fashion, Arts Toronto week, or better known in the industry as |FAT|. Opening the show for Ottawa women’s wear designer Rachel Sin, it seems as if Cory wrote the song for the runway. Aptly named Fashion Show, the song has been gaining a lot of traction on the radio and MuchMusic, as well as all over Asia where it was released early this year, with the full album release slated for summer 2012. Fashion Show speaks about a woman who uses her supermodel strut, fierce attitude and seducing poses to captivate an audience, something Lee has down pat as she has been performing since early childhood, and can be found capturing the hearts of her male students weekly on Much Music’s Degrassi.      

A staple front-row guest for many top Canadian designers who show during Toronto Fashion Week, Lee has become a known industry fashionista, a term which describes a confidently dressed woman who presents herself as an ambassador of style. Lee takes pride in her keen eye for design and quality, and along with her style team she manages to mainly purchase, wear and promote Canadian clothing lines. Lee expresses that; “As a Canadian Artist who loves to support our country’s brands, performing at |FAT| will be exciting to me because it brings my love of fashion and my love for performing live together”.

Once a year in April, |FAT| takes place bringing the most creative in fashion and art together to present and perform hand in hand and features 200 national and international fashion designers, visual artists, bands and performers. The venue, always a large open loft space, will house street fashion fanatics that will crowd the 80ft runway to see Lee perform while supporting Rachel Sin and her latest F/W 2012 collection.
