Tec-Masters, Inc. President and CEO, Dr. Marvin P. Carroll, received the award from ESGR representative Tim Kinnison, COL, USAF (Retired). Tec-Masters, Inc. employee and Tennessee Army National Guard Staff Sergeant Larry Cantu has served in the Guard for 11 years, was deployed to Kuwait for 12 months, and returned in January 2012. “I was the NCOIC (Non-Commissioned Officer In Charge) responsible for the Information Systems Analysis – Small Systems Administration in Kuwait,” stated Cantu. “This involved all forms of communication, from network connectivity, to VOIP phones, satellites, and SINCGARS (Single Channel Ground and Airborne Radio System).” Cantu continued, “Everyone at Tec-Masters has been very supportive of my duty and allowed me to be part of something bigger than myself. While I was deployed, it gave me great comfort knowing that my work family was behind me. I love Tec-Masters. I could work here the rest of my life, learn, and grow.”
