PRLog - Apr. 24, 2012 - LAS VEGAS -- LAS VEGAS — XYIENCE has added Extreme Performance Expert and professional strength coach Michael Palmieri to its team of trainers. The founder of the Institute of Sports Science and Athletic Conditioning, an athletic research, training and education consulting facility in Las Vegas, Palmieri will provide content on training for XYIENCE’s website, represent the brand at health and fitness tradeshows as well as other events and provide sports performance testing for XYIENCE’s team of professional athletes.

With the experience of a career spanning 20 years, Palmieri’s client list includes an international roster of professional athletes from sports including mixed martial arts (MMA), football, basketball and weightlifting. He holds a strength and conditioning specialist certification from the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), is a coach with U.S.A. He is also the state director for the North American Strongman Corporation, has published articles in various trade and consumer publications and is often a frequent guest lecturer at industry meetings and events.

“I’m honored to be a part of the XYIENCE brand. There is tremendous synergy in this relationship,” says Palmieri, who is also pursuing a Master of Science degree in Kinesiology, concentrating on Biomechanics at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. “With XYIENCE’s impressive line-up of professional athletes and its position as a leader in sports nutrition, the results we produce will benefit a huge community of amateur and professional athletes alike.

XYIENCE Xenergy is the official energy drink of the UFC and its supplement brand was the first line developed specifically for MMA athletes. The training regimen of MMA athletes continues to capture the attention of pros in a broad range of sports, and John Lennon, XYIENCE’s president, explains that the brand is also extending its reach to those consumers.

“Michael Palmieri is a respected athletic professional and our relationship with him will benefit our athletes as well as provide great value to our audience of active lifestyle consumers,” says Lennon. “We look forward to his input and welcome him to the XYIENCE team.”
