Both our children have X-Box 360 Kinect! We first saw this at my son’s and played it with our grandkids. What fun! We are in our 50′s and bought it for exercise but also to have it when the grandkids come over. Our grandkids are ages 3, 4 and 12 and ALL of them are able to hook it up and play the game. It is so much fun! We are in the process of purchasing more games to get us up and moving. Anyone would enjoy this!

The XBox is so fun. I’ve had a Wii for 3 years and it’s gathering dust because I was very disappointed in the graphics and the childish animations. The XBox is for grown-ups. I like the free XBox Live trial as well. I’ve downloaded demos of games that I was thinking about buying. It’s nice to be able to test drive them before shelling out the money (especially since XBox games are a little pricier than competing systems). Skyrim is amazing, and I picked up older versions of Call of Duty and Assassin’s Creed. Loving it! The Kinect is more responsive than I expected and a whole lot of fun as well. The 4GB is plenty, especially since you can connect an external harddrive or flash drive via USB to expand that.

When the unit arrived and my husband hooked it up, there was an issue with the game “Kinect Adventures” that came with the unit. Don’t know if we did something wrong or if it came that way but it would not work. I called X-Box directly and they sent us a new “Kinect Adventure”, within five days, at no cost. We put the new game in and it works great! Great service from X-Box!!! Please note: this was not the fault of the seller at all! Love Amazon!

I purchased the Xbox 360 w/Kinect after doing much research and reading several hundred reviews. I was convinced before I purchased it that it was better than the Wii or PS3 and this was mainly based on the abilities of the Kinect. I had also read on the internet how systems designers were using the Kinect in “out of the box” ways to improve their work as well.
