Peptides International Receives IOS 9001:2008 Certification

PRLog (Press Release) - Apr. 23, 2012 - Peptides International Inc., a privately held biotech company, announced today that its production and distribution have been certified to the ISO 9001:2008 (w/o design), International Quality System Standard. These standards are recognized globally as the framework for well-managed, customer focused business systems with strong emphasis on quality management, continual improvement, achievement of business results and customer satisfaction.

"This certification positions Peptides International among a select few suppliers of high quality peptide products and is a natural extension of the quality tradition that has defined our company since its founding in 1983” explained its Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Bryce Johnson.

The certification process involved intensive internal preparation during which the company documented and standardized the processes and procedures of its operations from customer inquiry through final shipment. Objectives and metrics were determined to monitor performance and employees were trained in ISO standards. Following a series of internal audits, the company’s quality system was audited and certified by Smithers Quality Assessments Inc. (SQA), a member of the Independent Association of Accredited Registrars.  The entire certification process was managed by Peptides International’s Quality Assurance Manager, Dr. Patricia Coxon.
