Dvj Vegas started djing full time three nights a week in Greenville N.C at the age of 17 back in 94. He has held down weekly club gigs in cities from Las Vegas to Miami and as high as Vail in the Colorado Rockies.
Dvj Vegas has rocked parties along side of the best dj's the world has to offer. The list goes on and on but the only name you need to know if you want your event on tilt is "Dvj Vegas"!
Dvj Vegas is Social Magazines 2010 Dj Of The Year. In 2010 While earningthis honor he performed with artists such as Sean Kingston, Colby Adonis and the Pussy Cat Dolls own Kaya Jones just to name a few.
Dvj Vegas is that rare dj that can rock sets from a range of beach music, rock, hip hop to 7hrhouse sets that have made him infamous with noise violation after noiseviolation!
DVJ Vegas joins 25 other North Carolina DJs to play at this years Soundfest Raleigh 2012 -- Raleigh's FIRST DJ Showcase by the DJ's for the DJ's.
The event will be held on Sunday, April 29, 2012 at 4:00 PM at Longbranch. Located just 1/2 mile inside the Raleigh Beltline (I-440) at the Wake Forest Rd. exit, Longbranch is a multi-club entertainment venue in Raleigh NC and has showcased some of the biggest names in the US.
Soundfest started as a vision by Kristen “DJ KStones” Stoneman to put together an event showcasing DJ's. Stoneman states: “In an industry where the "DJ" is such an important part of the nightlife, Soundfest was formed to show homage to our talented NC DJ's in hopes to create unity between genres and the community, and gain respect of our peers.”
Last year in its inaugural event, 15 DJs participated and drew in a crowd of over 300. This years show will feature 26 local DJ's from the Carolina's and is sure to bring in a huge crowd.
Sponsors for the event include: Red Bull, Vitamin Water, Lazyday, DRL Toons, N The Mix Inc., Fourever Proud Apparel and Troy Jacques Jermaine PR and event production.
