Birmingham Life Coach Janet Lindsay Trains Professional Women

April 23, 2012 - PRLog -- The Association of Professional Coaches, Trainers and Consultants recognizes the impact of a revolutionary coaching programme as part of their annual awards.
Former Senior Probation officer and now coach, Janet Lindsay, has been nominated to receive an award in the category Women’s Coach of the year for her groundbreaking work with offenders.

The pilot programme is being delivered to female offenders within the Warwickshire and West Mercia Probation Trusts. This is resulting in participants making personal breakthroughs which allow them to deal with and overcome their circumstances even to the point where some participants are now coming off benefits and developing their own social enterprise organisations.

Janet credits the success of the programme to the willingness of the Warwickshire Probation Trust being open to explore a new and clear principles-based approach to engage with offenders.  This ground breaking programme and approach educates people about the principles underlying their experience in any given moment. This  leads to personal insight to identify and overcome the source of their offending behaviors, and ongoing insights are the keys to their rehabilitation, freedom and well being.

The approach, called The Three Principles, is being applied by coaches, psychiatrists and business professionals in the UK, USA and the Middle East.
The programme is expected to be expanded in the West Midlands and has the potential to produce over thirty new businesses and jobs in the next programme scheduled in 2012.


Janet was recognised at the 2011 Achievement Awards dinner on December 18th sponsored by the Association of Professional Coaches, Trainers, and Consultants (APCTC).  The night is being dedicated to honoring coaches, trainers, and consultants who have made an impact in 2011.
