Miller Felpax Announces Record Sales Quarter

PRLog (Press Release) - Apr. 23, 2012 - Miller Felpax, a leading manufacturer and distributor of rail parts, announced today it had achieved a record sales quarter for the 1st Quarter of 2012. This exceeded the 1st quarter of 2011 by 20%, which was the previous record sales quarter.

Steven L. Blue, President & CEO commented on the achievement: “This record was achieved primarily because of 2 initiatives. About 2 years ago, we invested in expanding our capabilities and market penetration in the locomotive truck rebuilding market. We have since expanded our presence in that market in a major way. The other reason for the record quarter was a full first quarter of Amfab products, a company we acquired in the second quarter of 2011.”

Steve went on to say that he commended all of the Miller Felpax employees for their extraordinary efforts that made the record quarter possible. In addition Blue said “I fully expect 2012 to be another record year”.
