Dying to eat...or eating to die?

Modern society's love affair with take away and restaurant eating is killing them. Routine dining on the unhealthy, the sweet, the fatty and the salty is cutting life expectancy by up to 10 years.

April 23, 2012 - PRLog -- "Let them eat cake" is the translation of the French phrase, supposedly spoken by "a great princess" upon learning that the peasants had no bread. Well today it's not only cake they are eating...sugar, salt and Trans fats, just to name a few...and it's killing them.

Modern society's love affair with take away and restaurant eating is killing them. Routine dining on the unhealthy, the sweet, the fatty and the salty is cutting life expectancy by up to 10 years.

Take Burger King for example, in the state of Tennessee. They have been trialling an ice-cream desert concoction consisting also of chocolate, caramel and bacon.
Not to be outdone, one of their competitors is offering their bacon flavoured milkshake, with a nutritional profile that has the medical fraternity up in arms. They are proudly serving up a total of 40g of fat, 127 mg cholesterol, 319 mg sodium and 75 grams of sugar. This totals over 700 whopping calories.

Now, new studies released by leading Canadian health researchers has also confirmed that fast food sold in Canada usually comes with considerably more sodium than the same product is sold in either the United States or Britain, or Europe.

It's not hard to imagine what these ingredients are doing to your health. The rates of adult and childhood obesity are exploding on a daily basis. Adult onset Diabetes is growing exponentially and the medical costs as a result of this poor eating is crippling the Medicare system.

In his ongoing efforts in raising awareness of the lifestyle issues that Baby Boomers and the Middle Aged are facing daily, George Georgiou from health website http://www.M7Secret.com has released his latest article where he lists some of the more popular cuisines, and outlines simple techniques that can be followed so that dining out does not become a life shortening experience.

The M7Secret Restaurant Diet Plan is essential reading for anyone who is a regular take-away or restaurant diner. The plan can be found at http://www.m7secret.com/blog/restaurant-diet-plan-how-the...
