Thielsch Engineering, Inc. Announces New Vice President of Business Development-Robert Smoske

April 22, 2012 - PRLog -- Thielsch Engineering, Inc. is pleased to announce that Robert (Bob) Smoske will be assisting the company in his newly appointed role as Vice President of Business Development. Robert’s 17 years as a senior member of our team and his 25 years within the industry will offer generous development and support for Thielsch and its current and future customer base.

Robert has served as project manager on numerous national and international field projects performing condition assessment evaluations, remaining life determinations and fitness for-purpose evaluations. He has been extensively involved with the inspections and evaluations of various types of pressure vessels, power piping, heat exchangers, headers, boiler components, storage vessels, reactor vessels, rotating machinery and other process equipment in power plants, paper mills, chemical plants and refineries.

Robert’s role as Vice President of Business Development will concentrate on growing Thielsch’s relationships through our Midwest office with a joint focus of establishing new relationships via our satellite divisions in Texas and Florida. Thielsch has a strong presence within those regions and we anticipate continued growth through Robert’s leadership, outreach and extensive knowledge.

As VP of Business Development, Robert will actively engage with Thielsch customers and our elite staff to provide continuous training for best engineering practices. Robert will also work closely with our risk based customers and energy producers to implement new programs such as Thielsch’s signature 4-SYTE Program.  Additionally, Robert’s role will educate current and future customers on Thielsch’s multiplex of advanced services/divisions offered throughout the U.S. and internationally, including our Professional Engineering Division, Field Service Division and our Laboratory Division.

Robert Smoske has extensive knowledge of the start-up, operations and maintenance of power generating and other industrial facilities with an emphasis on the design and implementation of programs to resolve problems and optimize performance. He provides a broad range of field support services to clients in various locations to identify, repair, and offer maintenance solutions of equipment/operations to prevent failures and improve production.
