At New York’s, The Voice Realm, the process has been given a makeover. After six months of research with advertisers, producers and most importantly voice over talent, a concept was devised for a new site and development began.
There was a hole in the market that needed to be filled. “We plan to change the way voice over castings and bookings are done. The way it happens now is just a waste of everyone’s time and money.” Says newly launched website The Voice Realm’s
marketing manager Robert James.
“Professional voice talent are sick of competing with amateurs that are just starting out in the business. They’re sick of having to pay monthly or annual fees to be listed on websites.” He added.
Voice talent that appears on The Voice Realm’s roster are all hand selected. They don’t pay a fee to be listed, so clients are assured that they will be working with seasoned professionals. That means no time wasted having to rush online to beat the stampede of who can get in first and offer the cheapest price.
Mr. James says they’re able to find a balance between keeping clients and voices happy. “The site connects producers and advertisers with voice artists who can then work together to get the read just right. Think of us like a traditional voice agency but everything’s done online. We aren’t a site for voices to come and learn about the industry. Our voices have been successful in the voice over industry for years."
“The feedback we’ve had so far from voices and advertisers has been very positive. We have tapped a part of the market that ensures everyone gets a good deal.” he concluded.
The Voice Realm is now live and adding new voices from the USA, UK and Australia every day.
