April 21, 2012 - PRLog -- Navy Pier’s Fourth of July fireworks display will be the only ticket in town for Chicagoans to enjoy a big Independence Day extravaganza this summer. Due to citywide budget cuts, the city of Chicago has eliminated the fireworks display previously held during the Taste of Chicago, as well as other smaller lakefront shows that used to take place for the holiday. Luckily, tourists and Chicago residents alike can still be dazzled by the fireworks at Navy Pier at 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 4, 2012.
