Two Female Filmmakers Bypass Male-ruled Hollywood with Web Series "A Cup of Confusion"

April 20, 2012 - PRLog -- Kathi Carey and Daniele Passantino have teamed to write and produce "A Cup of Confusion," a web series directed by Carey which follows a bright, young woman just out of college who has big dreams about what she wants to do with her life, but who's getting
lots of conflicting advice from her friends, her older brother – everyone. It’s a tale of the modern woman.

“It’s fun, funny and, we hope, will be a hit with young people everywhere who have hopes and dreams about their own futures but aren’t quite sure about how to achieve them,” says Daniele Passantino.

Carey and Passantino have lined up their first sponsor, Dave’s Homeroast, a creator of home-roasted coffee beans, for the web soap and its first season of 4 episodes. It’s a perfect pairing since the series is ultimately about the heroine opening a coffee shop.
