Personal Trainers Show Women How to Use Household Items for Home Workouts on
‘A Lifetime of Health and Wellness Makeover™’ Series

(Pompano Beach, FL –April 19, 2012)  After going through the fun group Speed Dating-like process to find their perfect trainer match, the four women finally have a chance to slow down and spend more serious one-on-one time with their own personal trainers. This week’s episode highlights two of the contestants, Rosa and Christina, as their fitness journeys shape up in their own homes on April 23rd at 7:00 a.m. (ET/PT) on the ‘A Lifetime of Health and Wellness Makeover™’ series on “The Balancing Act” on Lifetime television.

Featured first is Rosa Gordon, 51, who paired up with personal trainer, Adriana.  After a surprise message of encouragement from the Premier Fitness Camp experts, the ladies quickly hit the ground with some home exercises – using common household items like a water bottle, a kitchen counter and a living room wall! Viewers will enjoy learning about all the items around the house that can help to get them in shape. One of Rosa’s desires was to push beyond her prior workout routines, which Adrian delivered with a minimum of workout equipment.

Stretching exercises on her staircase begins Christine Deslile’s workout with her personal trainer Steve, and two chairs become the frame for strengthening her core muscles, again taking advantage of using what’s in the home. Motivated to look great at her future wedding, Christine 39, felt Steve had her fitness and her well-being in mind as she prepares to walk down the aisle in style.

How are all our four women progressing so far? It’s been 4 weeks since the Boot Camp measurements were taken at Premier Fitness Camp, so a quick update is in order. Make sure to watch the show as weight and body measurements – including their necks! - are revealed for each woman compared to 4 weeks ago.

“It’s very exciting to watch the beginning of the actual transformation of our health and wellness makeover ladies.  Now that they’re paired up with their personal trainers, the real work begins in their home environment. As all the trainers say, it takes 21 days for an activity to become routine, so if you’ve had a bad day, don’t give up! Just pick yourself up, keep going and get back into your routine and soon you’ll be forming those life changing habits”, says Danielle Silverman, Senior V.P., “The Balancing Act”.

Stay tuned next week as Melissa and Antonia begin their first workouts with their personal trainers.
