Over the past several weeks of auditions, the contest was narrowed down to nine finalists who will all sing in front of a panel of judges for the coveted “I-FACTOR”

Other components of the Israel 64 Celebration include a FREE Carnival for children from 5-8pm, Israeli-Style Kosher Food Court where a variety of foods will be available for purchase, interactive activity stations, and a torch lighting ceremony honoring 8 individuals who have strengthened the ties between South Florida and the People of Israel.
Additionally, a major highlight of the Celebration will be a special unprecedented exhibit, Israel-From Biblical Times to the Present, featuring 500 pieces of artwork created by children, grades K-12. This exhibit includes oils, pastels, charcoals, pen and ink drawings, sculptures, scale models and more. The exhibit is open to the public from Tuesday, April 24 through Friday, April 27 – $5 for Students/Seniors, $10 general admission. During the hours of the Israel 64 Celebration, from 5-10pm, all students will be admitted to the exhibit at no charge. For more information, call Dror Gershoni, at 305-932-4200 x128.
