The City of Boynton Beach, Florida and Boynton United hosts its first Bury the Violence Day on April 28, 2012. Community leaders, city and civic leaders will come together to show unified support to end the violence taking place in Boynton Beach Florida. The day’s events will include Mayoral Call to Action, A Symbolic Processional, a Teen Summit and Family Fun Activities. All events will take place between City Hall and the Hester Center.
In the evening a Leadership Summit will take place at Gateway Park were an action plan will be discussed to take further action towards stopping the violence in Boynton Beach Florida. All activities are free of charge and all are invited to attend.
With a rash of violent activities taking place in the Boynton Beach, Florida area over the past 4 months, the City of Boynton Beach and Boynton United have decided to make a public statement against the violence and wage a peaceful protest as a call to action to stop senseless violence taking in the Boynton Beach, Florida community.
