Millennium Park recently announced that they have selected Leslye Jones-Beatty as a ZUMBA™ instructor for their free Summer Workouts. Her sessions will take place on the Great Lawn of the Jay Pritzker Pavilion at 10:00AM every Saturday from August 4th through September 1st. Each workout is 45 minutes. ZUMBA™ is a Latin dance-inspired fitness routine that is "exercise in disguise" and burns calories because of the vigorous movements. Ms. Jones-Beatty is a licensed ZUMBA™ instructor and has been a member of the ZUMBA™ Instructor Network since October 2010. She teaches ZUMBA™ classes at Curves in Chicago's Rogers Park & Edgewater neighborhoods and the Heartwood Center in Evanston. She also provides demonstrations at large health & fitness events throughout the Chicagoland area.
About Leslye Jones-Beatty
Ms. Jones-Beatty has more than 8 years of experience teaching group exercise classes. She has a Group Exercise Instructor Certification from the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA). Most recently, Ms. Jones-Beatty completed training for ZUMBA™ Gold so that she can expand her services to seniors.
