Grab your passport and get ready for an exciting adventure to view 21st century teaching and learning in action. Our youngest students will open the doors to their classrooms, sharing a small part of what they have been learning this year. For example, the third grade has been studying famous inventors and simple machines and rather than write or recite a report, each student is creating a one-of-a-kind invention. The final step of this project is to communicate with others how the invention works.
All activities will highlight the five C’s of 21st teaching and learning -- Creativity, Critical Thinking, Communication, Collaboration and Character. These five skills have been identified as the necessary talents for success in the 21st century.
