(April 18, 2012) — St. John & Partners took home three Gold ADDY awards on behalf of its client, Zaxby’s, this past weekend at the American Advertising Federation’s regional ADDY Awards in Orlando. All three Gold ADDYs — the highest award — automatically move on to the national competition in June.
St. John & Partners won Gold ADDYs for spots starring Doris Roberts, best known for her Emmy Award-winning role as the know-it-all mother on “Everybody Loves Raymond,” and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame legend Little Richard. Both entertainers’
The third Gold ADDY was for a viral video campaign for Zaxby’s Celebration Special. Hidden cameras caught patrons’ reactions when their Celebration Special was accompanied by either cheerleaders, a pep band, a singing trio or a giant Zaxby’s chicken holding a bouquet of balloons. The Celebration Special spots were posted on Zaxby’s Facebook page.

Winners in all 15 regional competitions now go on to compete in the national ADDY awards, which will be announced in June. With more than 60,000 entries annually, the national ADDY awards are the highest level of the most esteemed competition within the advertising industry.
