The aim of this award is to make all employers and workers aware of the benefit derived from good safety and health practices to control risk at work. The theme chosen by the European Agency for the 2012-13 award, WORKING TOGETHER FOR RISK PREVENTION, will recognise companies or organizations that have made outstanding and innovative contributions towards the promotion of health and safety by encouraging workers and their representatives to share ideas and to actively work with their Management to improve safety and health for all. Examples of good practice need to be forwarded to OHSA-Malta. All submissions will be adjudicated by a panel of independent judges. The winner/s will be announced later on during a ceremony held by the OHSA - Malta in October 2012 during the week dedicated to Health and Safety at Work, and their names submitted to the EU-OSHA.
