The campaign will be held on 19th & 20th April’2012, where the employees can dispose off their mobile phones which are discarded or no longer in use. Atterobay in return to that will give some amount for that mobile phone depending on the value of the phone after the research. The idea behind this campaign on Earth Day is to educate them, to aware them about the hazardous effects of selling or giving their mobile phones to a local scrap dealer (Or Kabadiwala).
All the mobiles that will be collected through the drive will go for recycling or for refurbishing. As per the Survey, India is one of the emerging E-Waste generators; So Companies should take appropriate steps to recycle the E-waste in the proper manner.
