Chamber's Akron Football Friday Luncheon features Cleveland Browns President Mike Holmgren

April 18, 2012 - PRLog -- The Greater Akron Chamber announced today they have teamed up with the University of Akron and the Cleveland Browns to hold an exclusive “Akron Football Friday” Luncheon on Friday, May 11 at the University of Akron. The exclusive event features a special keynote address by Cleveland Browns President Mike Holmgren and will be emceed by Browns play-by-play voice Jim Donovan. “Akron Football Friday” will also include appearances by current and former Browns players, as well as Akron Zips Head Football Coach, Terry Bowden.  

“We are excited to be co-hosting the Cleveland Browns and Mike Holmgren in the Akron market, “ said Greater Akron Chamber President & CEO Dan Colantone. “Many business owners and employees in our region are Browns fans and we appreciate the value the Cleveland Browns bring to Northeast Ohio’s economy.”

"My staff and I look forward to showing off the campus and our football facilities to the Browns organization and their loyal fans."

All are welcome to attend the luncheon.  Individual tickets are $25, corporate tables are $250.  Reservations are required. To purchase tickets go to www.greaterakronchamber.org.  The luncheon will take place at the University of Akron Student Union Ballroom, located at 303 Carroll Street, Akron, 44325.  Parking will be available in the Shrank Parking Deck. Registration and Networking will begin at 11:00 a.m. with lunch being served at 11:30 a.m.  The presentation will begin at 11:45 a.m.
