Oracle witnesses strong growth momentum for SPARC T4 servers in India

April 18, 2012 - PRLog -- Bangalore, April 18, 2012: Highlighting the rapidly expanding demand for its SPARC servers, Oracle today announced it has shipped thousands of midrange SPARC T4 servers with Oracle Solaris, making it one of the fastest ramping server products in Oracle’s history . Oracle also outlined its strategy to accelerate its hardware business in India.
More than 800 customers around the world have adopted Oracle’s SPARC T4 servers since its launch barely 6 months ago, to power their enterprise and mission-critical applications on Oracle Solaris 10 or 11.
