Vanarama expands with national franchise network

Commercial vehicle leasing broker, Vanarama.co.uk is aggressively expanding its business by recruiting a national team of mobile franchisees, after a successful trial of the concept.
 
April 18, 2012 - PRLog -- Commercial vehicle leasing broker, Vanarama.co.uk is aggressively expanding its business by recruiting a national team of mobile franchisees, after a successful trial of the concept in Barnet.  Vanarama.co.uk, part of the Autorama Group, has developed its business from a simple used car dealership to one of the UK’s largest commercial vehicle leasing companies in just eight years.  Vanarama looks set to grow further with its latest venture.

Comments Andy Alderson, Autorama Group managing director, “The commercial vehicle market grew by *16.7% in the last year alone and the popularity of leasing, rather than outright purchase is on the rise too.  While traditional LCV franchisees tend to be tied to sales from a single manufacturer, uniquely, we can offer our franchisees significant volume buying power over a range of the most popular marques, which they can then pass directly to customers.  All this can be done working from home without the need for their own costly staff and premises.”

The Vanarama franchise concept has already been trialled in Barnet by David Igo, “While on-line sales are vital, many business owners prefer to meet face to face when making such an important purchase decision and they seem to appreciate Vanarama’s impartiality.  This is reflected in vehicle sales I’ve made which assures me that outlay costs can be recouped very quickly before profit potential begins,” says David.  

Vanarama believes that the key to a successful franchise is a strong partnership between the franchisee and franchise owner. After paying the **£18,500 purchase cost, franchisees will benefit from on-going support via a comprehensive training programme including sales, networking and product knowledge training.  LeadManager, Vanarama’s bespoke lead management software and its comprehensive aftersales administrative support system will also provide valuable back-up, allowing franchisees to quickly develop their business.

The franchise network will begin training and trading over the Summer.


* There has been a 16.7% increase in the commercial vehicle market, with an average increase of 13% in each of the last three years in the amount of LCV’s ‘purchased’ using some form of leasing contract.  SMMT 2011 Sales figures.
