Tudertechnica introduces new versatile, fully conductive hose for North American market

PRLog (Press Release) - Apr. 18, 2012 - LAS VEGAS, April 18, 2012 — Tudertechnica, a major Italian specialty industrial hose manufacturer, has introduced Tuflon PTFE Biotech, a versatile, fully conductive hose, to the North American market.

Tuflon PTFE Biotech is a suction and delivery hose that is resistant to high temperatures and is suitable for many chemicals and solvents, but offers the attributes of full conductivity, FDA approval in the U.S., and a distinctive spotted black-and-white color (similar to the color scheme of a Dalmatian dog), giving it a unique set of attributes in the hose industry. Tuflon PTFE Biotech is designed for the chemical, food, pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries especially where a flexible connection is required and where there is a risk of explosion.

“This hose was well received by our customers in Europe when it was introduced recently,” said Andrea Deregibus, Tudertechnica’s chief operating officer.  “The reaction was not surprising because Tuflon PTFE Biotech exceeds all applicable food sanitary standards, and its conductivity is especially appealing in areas where you must avoid static electricity and the risk of explosions.”

Tuflon PTFE Biotech is produced with high quality elastomers with excellent chemical and mechanical properties, and is applicable in the Ex-zones.  The tube is PTFE (polytetraflourethylene) black, conductive, phthalates free and tested in compliance with several international standards.  The distinctive spotted black-and-white cover is smooth, glossy, easy to clean, resistant to a variety of fluids and chemicals, aging and ozone damage, and resistant to abrasion.

Tuflon PTFE Biotech will be marketed and sold by CRP Industrial, a division of CRP Industries, Inc., Cranbury, N. J.  CRP has strategic distribution locations in California, New Jersey, Ontario, Canada and Puebla, Mexico.
