Dream School Challenge on Lifetime TV
TV special highlights the Dream School Challenge of the Districts, a contest designed to engage all of America to take a positive step towards improving education.
(Pompano Beach, FL – April 17, 2012) The Parent Teacher Association is a well-known volunteer organization that advocates for children and education. Make sure to tune in to “The Balancing Act” on LIfetime TV April 24th at 7:00 a.m. (ET/PT) as Betsy Landers, National PTA President joins the show to talk to viewers about the importance of parents’ involvement in their child’s education. The segment will air as part of the show’s one hour special edition of the “Parent Teacher Corner” series, The Future is Now: The Dream School of the 21st Century.
During the episode, Landers will talk to viewers about how parents who get involved and stay involved in their child’s education makes all the difference to a student’s future success, and how easy it is to implement. Landers will also highlight the Three For Me Program which engages the three way relationship between parent, teacher and child – taking on serious subjects like bullying and obesity.
Viewers will also be taken inside classrooms across America as the episode explores success in today’s state of the art Dream Schools.
