"Ready, Set, Draw!" T-Shirt Design Contest Winners Take Home Chinook Medical Gear

After receiving over forty original submissions from Chinook customers and fans, the results are in and Chinook is excited to announce the two lucky winners! “Ready, Set, Draw!” was a huge success and Chinook would not only like to recognize the top two contestants for their amazing designs, but also to thank everyone who participated in the contest for their creativity and inspiration.

It was a tough decision and in the end, the judges were gridlocked so Chinook will award two prizes instead of one as originally planned. Designs are still being finalized but the company will make another announcement and share the winning designs via http://www.chinookmed.com/blog once the T-shirts are available for purchase.

First prize is awarded to Jeff Williams from Pullman, WA. Williams is a small business owner and graphic designer who is also highly involved in emergency medical training in his community’s local militia effort. In addition to having his drawing appear on Chinook’s T-shirts, Williams will be awarded Chinook’s Tactical Medical Kit - Medic (TMK - ME), retail value $986. Designed exclusively for tactical medics with expert product development input from Army Ranger and Special Operations medics, Chinook’s TMK-ME sets the standard for tactical medical kits.

Second prize winner, Chris Woomer from Atlanta, GA, is artist by trade and an avid sportsmen at heart. After receiving his B.A. in Art, Woomer’s ultimate goal is to become an EMT and “help as many people as possible.” He hopes to begin training this fall. In addition to bragging rights, Woomer will take home Chinook’s TMK-ME Medic Pack.

The winning designs were selected by a panel of judges from Chinook’s sales and marketing team. Once the designs are finalized, artwork from Williams and Woomer will be shared on the company’s blog, Facebook and social networking channels. T-shirts will be printed for promotional purposes and will be available for sale on Chinook’s company website.
