The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum’s new Grateful Dead: The Long, Strange Trip exhibition opened Wednesday, April 12. McIntosh played an integral role in the quality of sound reproduction demanded by the Grateful Dead, including creation of their renowned “Wall of Sound” mega stage system. Not only did McIntosh sponsor this year’s exhibition, four McIntosh MC2300 amplifiers from the band’s personal collection are included.
