“We are fortunate to be able to create something positive out of the devastating death of our son,” said Fred C. Hirsh, GMHMF Founder. “Our annual anniversary event celebrates our ongoing mission of preventing sudden cardiac death in children and young adults.”

Hirsch’s son, Gregory, died suddenly in 2001 of an undetected heart condition. In his memory, GMHMF was created to raise awareness and help prevent similar deaths.

The Venetian is located at 546 River Drive, Garfield, New Jersey.  For more information, to purchase tickets to the event, or learn about event sponsorship opportunites, contact Fred C. Hirsch at 201-707-5933.

All etiologies of sudden cardiac death will be investigated including hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM), which is responsible for the vast majority of these devastating losses.
