Angelina Martin to Share her Industry Knowledge as the New Face of the Global Cosmetics Community

PRLog (Press Release) - Apr. 17, 2012 - If you are a part of the Global Cosmetics Community (http://www.globalcosmeticscommunity.com/), you already know that it is an influential online destination, where cosmetics and personal care professionals can visit to read up on the latest breaking beauty news, trends, and professional opinions.  Offering numerous discussion topics, groups, photos, and videos, the Global Cosmetics Community decided they needed a seasoned beauty expert to be the face of the online community.  Knowing they needed someone that was in touch with consumer insights, and innovations in the beauty industry, they are proud to announce their selection of renowned hair stylist and beauty expert, Angelina Martin.  

Born in Kazakhstan (USSR), and moving to Tel Aviv at the young age of 12, Angelina developed her own unique sense of style by taking conservative fashion influences from her childhood, and merging them with the Middle East’s more exotic and striking trends.
Angelina’s experience ranges from international workshops in Paris (Michel Mercier), New York (Redken) and London (Vidal Sassoon), to styling for major fashion shows and designers, such as Mart Visser. She prides herself on her ability to connect with people, and being able to read her clients instantly, which allows her to understand and successfully satisfy their needs.

Because she works with international clients on a daily basis, she is in the perfect position to learn consumers’ feedback on beauty products and trends, and use this information in the Global Cosmetics Community, to help the beauty industry learn and succeed.  

“Working with the Global Cosmetics Community is a very exciting venture for me, as I am looking forward to sharing my experience and knowledge with the international professional cosmetics community.  I am very interested in new product development, especially the current wave of using more environmentally friendly ingredients and natural care treatments”, Angelina explains.

Angelina is currently a stylist at one of the most recognized salons of the Netherlands, Rob Peetoom, where she continues to be inspired, and is constantly giving advice on not only styling, but also on beauty and personal care.

The Global Cosmetics Community has launched an “Ask Angelina” section as part of their online community, where cosmetics and personal care companies can dig deeper into the consumer insights knowledge that Angelina has.  They will have the opportunity to talk to her about trends, product feedback, and anything else that she is exposed to when she is working in the industry.

When she’s not in the salon, Angelina loves to learn from top fashion brands for further inspiration, and concentrates on her passion for professional dancing.
