ConRoca Publishing Announces Release of David Martin Anderson's novel, "Promises"

ConRoca Publishing announced today that it has collaborated with Create Space, Amazon.com, and Barnes & Noble in bringing David Martin Anderson's long-awaited novel, PROMISES, to the marketplace.

April 16, 2012 - PRLog -- Author David Martin Anderson has released another novel through ConRoca Publishing, Kevin Abreu, ConRoca’s Editor-in-Chief announced today. That novel, titled 'Promises,' was officially released April 9. "All indications are that the book is now up on both Barnes & Noble and Amazon websites, and is available through other distribution chains as well," Abreu stated. "We're very proud of our company's collaboration with Create Space on this updated version of an older Dave Anderson novella. That novella, titled 'The Cowboys of Haddington Moor,' was optioned for a film in the year 2000, and was to be produced by the late great actor James Coburn. Unfortunately, Mr. Coburn passed away before production could get off the ground. This revised version, like the original, has tremendous heart and is quite captivating. The plot involves a love story and centers on an elderly West Texas couple who sell their ranch to rescue her family's cattle farm in Scotland; the setting is 1996 during the height of the mad cow epidemic and the farm has been wiped out by the epidemic and about to be taken over by an unscrupulous bank. Dave has done a great job updating, improving, and adding to the storyline. If anything, the story is richer than before. He is a much more accomplished writer today than when the original version was conceived in 1998. We have high hopes that 'Promises' will receive the sort of acclamation the original version received, and we're currently hunting for the perfect actor to portray the lead of Cappy in the next film attempt."

Abreu referenced the company's website for a more thorough reference to 'Promises.'
