April 16, 2012 - PRLog -- The very first It's All Happening festival, featuring music, art, spoken word, theatre, poetry, and craft will take place on June 23rd in Bethnal Green. Having cemented their reputation of bringing top live music to new audiences, It's All Happening are combining all their interests for a day of festivities and fun!

We’re very excited about this opportunity to bring together some of the best new music, art, spoken word and theatre talent in London for the It’s All Happening festival taking place at The Gallery Cafe in Bethnal Green.

Whilst there is so much creativity bubbling away, it is rare that the chance arises to experience lots of different types of art and entertainment in one easy and exciting day. As well as showcasing some of our favourite new acts, we are inviting the local community to be involved, to make this a day enjoyed by everyone!

It’s All Happening are a group of people devoted to spreading the word about good music. Starting as a print ‘zine in 2009, we have evolved to an online blog, and in 2010 started putting on gigs and events.

Everything we do is based upon sharing good music and having a good time – we’ve had brilliant feedback and an amazing response, and as far as we can see we’re just doing what anybody who likes music would do… Our interests our diverse, and as well as music we dabble in a little writing, theatre, craft and film – all things creative!

On June 23rd we are bringing a number of these together, for the inaugural It’s All Happening festival. We see the day as a festival-cum-fete affair, with lots of people putting in and lots of people getting out, full of plenty of smiles, nice drinks and good times.

The current line up spans music, art, film, theatre, spoken word and poetry, and amongst many others artists performing and sharing their work on the day, will be the much hyped creator of 'fuzz folk' Soulmates Never Die, the warm and melodic tunes of Jack Robert Hardman, the magical Anja McCloskey, Sugardrum, Fallingham Fair, Calum Hartley, Fallen Empire, The Ruby Kid, Shkembe Soup , Billy The Dreamer, Joshua Seigal, Lettie Mckie, Katie Trevor, Philip Kane, Thom Byles, Jack Helm, James Lloyd, Gaptooth, Lara Jacoski, Natalie Wilcox, Jacobo Maino, Millie Beanz, Selina Nwulu, Debbie Sharp and Larissa.

Our hosts will be the wonderful Gallery Café in Bethnal Green, which is part of St. Margaret's House Settlement, an independent charity which has providing practical initiatives, projects and activities for the local community since 1889.

Tickets for the day are available at a limited early bird price of only £6, from wegottickets.com.

We are seeking acts to play, artists to show case their work, and craft stalls and workshops. In addition, we would like to hear from people who are interested in sponsoring and partnering with the festival. This could be in exchange for presence on all advertising, including web, posters, flyers and local newspapers, or sponsorship of a stage.
