April 16, 2012 - PRLog -- Tier-Rack engineers have perfected the art of designing the stack rack to the proper dimensions to fit side by side and stack 2 high in a standard van and fill air space with product. With a few design changes, a portable rack has now become a shipping container.

Tier-Rack’s new shipping rack design offers two advantages; removable stacking posts provide for saved space when returning the shipping racks to their point of origin and a steel shipping container also solves the problem of waste. There is no cardboard or wood packaging to dispose of at the product's destination.

Company president and owner, Scott TenEyck, says “Here at Tier-Rack we believe that helping our customers’ solve problems is the way to open new markets and shipping racks is one way we are becoming more successful.”

Using shipping racks can offer solutions to two areas of concern often confronted by logistic managers; the desire to save transportation costs and the need to improve waste management.
