Vice President of Sales Heather Simard stated "With Earth Day approaching we decided to make a direct donation of $200 to Reef Check. Over the last several years we have watched as the trend towards buying eco-friendly has been partially muted by the troubled economy. It is only in the last few months that major suppliers have begun to release more items in this category. We are hoping our donation can help highlight their availability."
Fields was founded in 1979 and currently operates out of the Upper Midwest. With a focus on lanyards, adhesive notes and sunglasses the company specializes in delivering on time and providing superior service. The ability to create lanyards in custom PMS colors also distinguishes it from the rest of the competition. The brand is a perfect complement to the promotional items being offered by PromoManagers as they being to expand into the trade show segment of the business. "We have typically stayed away from what was once perceived as the price point goods but the increase in quality recently gives us comfort. Also there are now a multitude of top rated suppliers offering these value goods. With Fields there are traditional items like the lanyard now available in every PMS color in as little as 24 hours. This type of product complements our existing offerings and more importantly helps our customers." Mrs. Simard also pointed out that the average price point has decreased over the past year as noted by most industry experts.
In addition to the $200 being donated to Reef Check the company has promised an additional 2% of the proceeds from the purchase of any eco-friendly items ordered during the next week. Earth Day will be celebrated on April 22, 2012 in over 192 countries. An event on the National Mall is expected to draw over 10,000 participants.
