Indie Artist Tarzs releases new single "I run it.”

April 13, 2012 - PRLog -- NEW YORK: Major Indie hip hop recording Artist Tarzs’ new single entitled I RUN IT, from his upcoming EP release on PowerHouze Recordings. “I RUN IT,” which is a song that details the everyday life of a hustler that is known to the streets and running it. “I Run it,” a cleverly named track that is packed with powerful baseline punches and a catchy chorus; is sure to be a winner in the clubs and with all crowds, young and old.  This track has been causing some buzz in the performances, and the video has begun filming.

“I Run It,” is produced by Amir Swain and Vocal Arrangement by Amir Swain and Tarzs Young Blood releasing on PowerHouze Recordings. I RUN IT is the first single off the forthcoming EP from Tarzs.  I RUN IT is not the first single to reach the charts for Tarzs. He has reached charting success with the singles "Get it Crunk" and "It’s over".

About Tarzs:
“TARZS YOUNGBLOOD," musically known as "TARZS," was born in Queens, raised in Brooklyn, and now living in Harlem, N.Y. has naturally absorbed and mastered the art of 'rhyming.' Although this 26 year old artist grew up in rap, it wasn't until he was 14 years old that he decided that entertainment is his future. TARZS admires artists such as The Late Biggie Smalls, The Late Tupac Shakur, LL Cool J, Rakim, and many more lyrical geniuses. With the combination of all of these creative styles, mixed together with his own flavor, TARZS has developed an incredible, unbeatable lyrical content and delivery that is still hard to match even by the multi-platinum artist of today.

Not only does TARZS have unquestionable lyrical skill. He also has experience in other forms of entertainment. He attended THE WEISS BARON SCHOOL of ACTING for two years. He also had lessons on the SAXOPHONE, which he was very successful at. He has done commercials for J C PENNY and APPLE JACKS. He has appeared on the well known television show, LAW and ORDER. Life hasn't always been an easy road for TARZS. While his talents were trying to keep him grounded, the mean streets of Brooklyn led him into negative surroundings that nearly cost him his life. Leaving school at fifteen years old, TARZS found himself in trouble with the law. He was then sent to juvenile detention where he stayed until he was 16 years old. At seventeen, TARZS was involved in an altercation in a department store in Brooklyn, and ended up shot in the stomach. This life threatening bullet still remains in his stomach nevertheless; TARZS is still persistent and determined to achieve great success in entertainment.

Recently the rapper "DMX" was found on TARZS block looking for TARZS because he wanted to record with TARZS. The end result is the song "RAIN" featuring "DMX" which can be heard in this press kit. Due to the success of "LOCKED UP 4 HOMICIDE" the highly anticipated album "HITMAN HOMIES" is due to be released in spring 2010.
TARZS main focus is to build a strong team, and gain recognition for being one of the most lyrically creative, with a twist of party, but still true to the reality on the streets rapper that ever touched the microphone. TARZS has already done several stage performances throughout the TRI-STATE AREA and is currently being booked for a full schedule of shows. With the skills and confidence that TARZS has, he is destined to climb straight to the top of this industry game, and conquer all those he meets along the way!
